We’re looking for a seasoned Full Stack Software Engineer to join our fast‑growing product team in Sydney. You’ll be building and scaling end‑to‑end features for a SaaS platform that serves thousands of enterprise customers across Australia and beyond. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary of $100,000 AUD.
Design, develop, and maintain front‑end components using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Implement server‑side APIs and business logic with Node.js, integrating with PostgreSQL databases.
Deploy, monitor, and optimise services on AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
Collaborate with product owners and designers in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment to deliver user stories on sprint cycles.
Write automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to the team’s coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Identify performance bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements for scalability.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience building full‑stack web applications.
Strong proficiency in React (hooks, context, routing) and Node.js (Express or similar frameworks).
Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation.
Solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
Track record of working in Agile teams, comfortable with sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
Good grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git).
Desirable: exposure to serverless architectures, TypeScript, or GraphQL.
