Fullstack Engineer (React/Next.js, Java, AWS) needed for fast‑growing SaaS firm in Sydney – hybrid, permanent role.
We’re a fast‑growing SaaS company based in Sydney, building a platform that helps enterprises automate their workflow pipelines. As a Fullstack Software Engineer you’ll join a tight‑knit delivery team that ships features end‑to‑end, from UI design through to cloud deployment.
Design, develop, and maintain responsive front‑end components using React and Next.js.
Implement server‑side logic and APIs in Java, integrating with PostgreSQL databases.
Deploy, monitor, and optimise services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, CloudFront).
Collaborate with product owners and designers in Agile ceremonies to refine requirements and deliver increments every sprint.
Write automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to our evolving architecture standards.
Investigate performance bottlenecks and implement improvements across the stack.
4+ years of full‑stack development experience with React, Next.js, Java and PostgreSQL.
Hands‑on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (IAM, S3, CloudFormation preferred).
Proven ability to work in Agile teams, delivering functional software in two‑week sprints.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid problem‑solving skills and the ability to debug across the front‑end and back‑end.
Desirable: familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, GraphQL, or serverless architectures.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Competitive base salary of $120,000 per annum.
